What should I feed my 9week Toy Poodle?
Hi! I’m getting a toy poodle this weekend..(it will be 9 weeks at that time).The breeder has been feeding him some food brand from Tractor Supply but she said I can switch up the brand if I like. I heard if you switch the food it will give the puppy diarrhea..I was considering the Benefuls for puppies? I dunno what do y’all think?
If you’re worried about diarrhea, then Beneful is really not the right choice.
Check out the ingredients on the Tractor Supply food. Is it grain free? Corn free? Are at least the first three ingredients meats?

You’re right about switching slowly. As long as you SLOWLY switch the dog over to a new food (at least seven days, I usually go overboard and take months), there won’t be much gastrointestinal upset.
