What is your opinion on why food prices have skyrocketed? I just read an article in the Washington Post today on the coasts.

Do you think that is because fuel prices are higher and it takes a lot of fuel to run tractors and ship food in California and Chile? Could be that corn and other biofuels are extra? Is it just the greed of capitalism because, in fact, only a small number of enterprises and supply With Ag 80 percent of food and not really compete? Or is this global warming climate and habitat destruction resulting in the loss of land culture to desertification?
