Does the council keep your street tidy?

I have a question, my local council sends a roadsweeper round the street next to me at least once a week, sometimes two and there’s a council van that goes round keeping the area looking presentable too. They mow the lawns and look after the trees and send a farm tractor round to give the parkway a good cutting every two weeks or so but they don’t do any of that here, why? we’re in the next street and we have to go out and pick up rubbish ourselves and are lucky to have our grass cut in the council gardens.

They send the streetsweeper out about once a year.
